Aaron's Senior Portraits

I had so much fun taking these pictures with my little brother! He's the last of us kids to graduate, it's hard to believe :) We took these pictures at the Peace Gardens. I was disappointed that they didn't have any flowers in bloom, but, for pictures of a guy, I think that was okay. I had fun getting inventive, and Aaron had fun pulling silly faces to make himself smile!

Ariah and Ashton

I was so excited when I was asked to take these cute twins portraits! They are precious and took me back to the days when Gary boy was new, because they weighed about the same! Check out my photography blog for more of their pictures (click here), and/or look up Young Photography on facebook see more!

The Bees are Cute Around Here!

I have been slacking on posting my crocheting projects, so I'll try to get caught up :) These cute little bees were a lot of fun to make! They're a few inches tall and cuddly! Now I'm working on a horse for Liv (and next Gary boy is asking for a dragon) so I'll have more fun animals to post... so keep an eye out!

Apricot Thinning

This family activity was actually a whole lot of fun! Our church owns an orchid down here, and asks the members to volunteer to help with the work. So Friday night we helped with the thinning. I had no idea what in the world that meant... turns out it's real simple and a fun family activity. All we had to do was pull off enough small apricots so that some of the apricots can mature to the yummy fruit. Occasionally the kids would get bored cause we'd run out of low branches to thin, but other than that they worked hard and had fun. It was fun that every now and then we'd get into little apricot fights! I can't wait until it's time to pick the fruit... although, no one will be allowed to throw those!

Happy Easter

This year we left the sunshine and warmth of southern Utah to visit family in Salt Lake City. Up there the weather has their holidays mixed up... Dear Weather, it's supposed to snow Christmas morning, NOT Easter morning! But it was warm enough that with jackets the kids could still go outside and have their egg hunt (and, as you can see, the snow didn't stick anyways.) There were so many eggs that it appeared each kid had a blast, each finding several! I loved being in a house filled with family, to me that's the most important part of any major holiday (next to the celebrating of Christ, of course)!
