Mr. Snowman

A week ago or so southern Utah got some snow, enough that it stuck around through the day. The kids were super excited, it was so cute! That afternoon we bundled up and went out for some fun. The kids had themselves a little snowball fight full of giggles! Then, noticing the bit of snow on the tramp, had to take their fight onto the bouncy surface! Then we decided to make a snowman. This was the most fun I've ever had making a snowman since both the kids were extra helpful! Playing in the snow is so much more fun with two adorable kiddos! Plus, the sun was shining bright so we were actually quite warm, all the bundling wasn't actually necessary... just habit I guess. By the next day the snow on the ground had all melted, but we were excited that Mr. Snowman hung around a couple days longer!

Matt, Morgan, & Cate

This was a fun little photo shoot in my home town. Little Cate wasn't so sure about having a big lens in her face so she wasn't full of smiles, but eventually she did get more comfortable. Although, then she just wanted to talk to me... silly girl! Well things are slowing just slightly so I hope to have some everyday family pictures of my own edited and posted soon!

Tyler, Kolbi, and Ryker

This was the first time I took pictures at Wheeler Farm, and boy was it busy! It was the day after Thanksgiving and we obviously weren't the only ones with this idea. But I can understand why so many photographers like this farm, it has so many opportunities for creative backgrounds! I really enjoyed taking pictures of Tyler, Kolbi, and Ryker. This little guy was so different... most babies need a lot of noise to get them to look at the camera and smile. Not little Ryker, he just liked to be talked to! Thanks guys, I hope you are very happy with them!

Montgomery Family Pictures

It was interesting taking pictures for my family since I needed to be in the pictures as well. Thankfully, Amber, my little brother's girlfriend, came out this chilly morning to help get kids to look the right direction and push the button! We took the pictures Thanksgiving morning at Sugar House Park in Salt Lake. I think they turned out very nicely despite some harsh shadows! Thanks family! I hope to be posting Thanksgiving pictures soon. This week has been busy between work and church callings that had me involved in the planning of two christmas parties. But don't get me wrong, I love me callings! So I'll have Thanksgiving pictures up sometime, even if they're posted halfway through December :)

Koda & Cousins

This was fun, we were hanging out Saturday so Karlene and I decided to take out the kids and finally get a nice picture of Koda and his some with his cousins as well. It was a lot of fun cause the kids were able to play in the leaves and enjoy themselves while we took pictures. They definitely weren't as fond of the possed pictures. Nonetheless we got some great shots!

Falling for Fall

Toquerville has been breathtaking this fall! The leaves have taken their time changing colors and slowly falling to the ground. I think it's the first time I've ever really just enjoyed fall. Maybe it goes by too quickly in Salt Lake and that's why I haven't thoroughly enjoyed it. Or maybe it's just a sign of maturity, I'm not sure. But what I do know is that I have fallen in love with fall! On the way walking home from school one day the kids and I stopped at a neighbors house who's yard was blanketed by leaves & had a great time tossing them about. The kids were not happy when it was time to head home, but the tummies were grumbling. I thought it was too cute & was glad that I had my camera with me :)

Christensen Kiddos

I got to take pictures of these cute kiddos at Ancestor Square in St. George. They were really fun, although full of wiggles. I loved taking pictures at this location, there were so many great areas. Plus I liked that I could put red in almost all of their backgrounds, it made for a nice synchronized package!
