SUCCESS!!

I have officially made my first fondant covered cake, yay! I want to especially thank Allison Smith, she was my inspiration to just "go for it" and give it a try and she also shared her knowledge with me which helped when I was very confused (long story). I was especially happy that I made the inside a checkerboard as well. Fondant was a whole of work but the end result is so worth it! I'm excited to make more fondant cakes because it let's me be very creative, and I love that! Plus, it tasted very yummy!

I am super impressed! But how many creative outlets do you need?? haha! You are very talented, my dear. But I'm sorry to say, my children will be jealous of your birthday cakes because theirs will be store bought :) I have no creative juices!

Thanks guys! I don't believe you, though, Kolbi... you have many creative juices. I've seen them in your own scrapbooking, in how you decorated your house & especially Ryker's room, and what it takes for you to do you job. We just have different creative juices! Plus, now that Aunt Tami is learning how to decorate cakes you can always call me up *wink wink* I'd love to help whenever you need it.
