Today I went with Liv on her school's field trip to the Discovery Center at the West Valley Rec Center. The place had all sorts of hands on stations, but I knew as soon as I saw this little supermarket that Liv would be spending all
of her time there. I was almost 100% right! I was glad that she did try out the playground, but it was dark and scary for her. So she went back to the supermarket area. First she did her shopping, gathered up all her goodies then let a friend
check her out, then handed her little friend imaginary money to seal the deal. After that she put on the apron and played the part of cashier. I can tell that she's definitely been shopping too much since she knew just how to ring up someone just like the grown ups! It was so fun to watch her use her imagination and play with her friends! At the end of playtime, though, it was decided... we definitely have to build our own little supermarket in our next house!

That is so cute. I had no idea they had something like that. We'll have to take advantage of that now that we live so close. I love the imagination of Liv. She is smart.
