I decided to read The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks since I saw the movie and LOVED IT! I'm not a big romantic movie type girl, but I can't get enough of this one for some reasons. So, since it's always said "the book is better than the movie" I decided to read the book. But I was so frustrated when basically the whole movie was told in the first 16 pages. So then I felt like I was dragging through each page waiting for the climax, but there were still hundreds of pages to turn. In the end it was bearable, I like reading some of the letters that had been written between each other and deeper insights to thoughts. But in the end I still love the movie a whole lot more than the book, especially the ending. The movie's ending just seemed so romantic and much more of an end.

I agree completely with you Tami! I LOVE the Notebook and watch iit about once a month... not sure why, but I read the book a long while back and I agree with you completely. The movie is so much better!
I liked the movie for the most part too, just not the part where she cheats on her fiancee. I just wished she had told him first. :)
I've never read the book, but I absolutely love the movie! :)
I haven't read the book... but I loved the movie!
I loved the movied and I loved the book. My husband purposed to me after we watched it and ever since then I have fallen in love with it :)
Tami, I read your email you sent me. I'm sorry that I haven't replied back yet. Our computer got a virus and so we couldn't use the computer for a while. I got my countdown from pyzam.com. Go to the flash toys tab. It's in there.
