Egg Hunt
I know it's a week late, but it's not completely procrastinating, we've been making the move to southern Utah, so not only has life been real crazy-busy, but we also haven't had internet access for a few days. But here it is finally... First I have to say how incredibly grateful I am for the absolutely gorgeous weather we had that Sunday. In Utah, at least the northern part, it's so bizarre, definitely not dependable, and always I surprise what the weather is doing when you wake up in the morning. But Easter Sunday was perfect, even almost hot! Anyways, the kids were so fun! Liv definitely has the hang of the whole egg hunt deal. We said "Go," and off she went like an egg gathering machine! She did get slowed up, though, when she would find an egg in the dirt. My "Girly-Girl" wouldn't dare step into that "messy dirt" so she'd come get Mom to get the egg for her, so silly. Gary was quite entertaining, as always, it took him a moment to completely catch on. See he was real quick to spot the egg and go get it, but when he'd see another one he'd drop the egg where he stood then run to get the new found one. He left the step where you return the egg to the basket! Eventually he got it, and loved the whole thing! Of course, now we're stuck regulating candy intake since we took home so much (since Linda's granddaughter, Tessa, wasn't there :( ). It was a beautiful day! A great time to reflect on our Savior and the sacrifice he made for us and the blessings because of it! I hope you all had a wonderful Easter! Click here to check out last year's Easter adventure!
